Two new radio stamps being offered by Canada Post. One features a picture of Marconi, and the other Sir Sandford Fleming. They were issued to commemorate 2 significant events occuring in 2002. The transmission by Marconi from Glace Bay, NS to England, and the completion of the Trans-Pacific telegraph cable proposed by Fleming in 1879. The two matched stamps are called a se-tenant pair by collectors. Marconi is on the right (Atlantic) side and Fleming, the left (Pacific) side, with a map of Canada split between the two stamps.
